About Course

Communicative English for Teachers is designed to strengthen the English communication skills of B.Ed. students and in-service government school teachers, particularly those with an Urdu background and limited proficiency in English. The course adopts a practical, learner-friendly approach that integrates grammar, phonetics, and language skills to develop accuracy, clarity, and confidence in real-life and classroom communication.

Delivered in MOOC mode, the course focuses on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills required for academic success and professional teaching contexts. Short video lessons, guided practice activities, and exam-oriented assessments support self-paced learning, while all evaluation and outputs are in English. The course is fully aligned with the prescribed B.Ed. syllabus and is suitable for both distance and regular learners.
